Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden Returns With New Events and Hinata

Free Fire is bringing back its NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collaboration with a new version of the Chapter One: Nine Tails Strikes event.

The collaboration started on September 16, 2026, and runs until October 15, 2026. This time, Garena is not simply bringing back the old Naruto content. The event adds new gameplay features, Hinata Hyuga, a new Ninja Academy location, returning ninjutsu, and new rewards.

The event is part of the new OB55 update and is available alongside the latest Free Fire content.

When Does the Free Fire x Naruto Event Start?

The new Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Chapter One event runs from:

September 16, 2026 – October 15, 2026

The collaboration returns the Hidden Leaf Village to Free Fire and adds several changes to Battle Royale.

Players who already experienced the original collaboration can also see new content this time, so it is not exactly the same event as before.

Nine Tails Is Back

One of the biggest parts of the event is the return of the Nine Tails.

During Battle Royale matches, Nine Tails can affect the battlefield before the match starts. It can target different areas and create different situations for players.

According to Garena’s OB55 patch notes, Nine Tails can:

  • Attack the aircraft with a Tailed Beast Bomb
  • Force players to jump from the plane after the countdown
  • Open an Arsenal without requiring an Arsenal Key
  • Create a crater containing loot on Bermuda

The exact event that happens can change between matches, so players cannot always expect the same opening.

Players Can Control Nine Tails

This is one of the biggest gameplay changes in the returning collaboration.

A new Sharingan: Control mechanic can appear during a match. Players can capture it and choose an area on the map to attack with a Tailed Beast Bomb.

After selecting the location, players receive a warning before the attack lands.

That means Nine Tails is no longer just something that happens around the player. The new mechanic lets players use its power as part of their own strategy.

Hinata Hyuga Joins Free Fire

Hinata Hyuga is also joining the collaboration.

She is one of the main new additions to this version of the Naruto event, alongside the returning Naruto-themed characters and content.

The collaboration also brings back the Hidden Leaf Village and adds a new Ninja Academy location.

Garena says the Ninja Academy is part of the refreshed Hidden Leaf Village experience, giving players another Naruto-themed area to explore during the event.

New and Returning Ninjutsu

Naruto-themed ninjutsu are also returning to Free Fire.

The event includes several familiar techniques, while a new technique based on Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation has been added.

The new technique can be used to push nearby enemies away and provide protection against incoming attacks.

Other Naruto-themed abilities and ninjutsu are also part of the event, giving Battle Royale matches a different feel during the collaboration.

New Rewards: Hinata or Jiraiya

Another change is the event’s reward system.

For the first time in Free Fire, the collaboration introduces a Pick-One Grand Prize system.

Players can choose between two major rewards:

  • Hinata Bundle
  • Jiraiya Bundle

This is different from simply unlocking one fixed final reward. Players can choose the character bundle they want from the two options.

There are also additional Naruto-themed collectibles and event rewards available during the collaboration.

Naruto Characters and Items Return

The event also brings back several pieces of the previous Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collaboration.

Players can once again find Naruto-themed content involving characters such as Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and other popular characters.

Other collectibles include themed cosmetics inspired by characters from the Naruto universe.

This gives returning players a chance to collect items they may have missed during the previous collaboration.

Is the Naruto Event Worth Checking Out?

If you already played the previous Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN events, the main reason to return is the new gameplay.

The biggest changes are not just skins. Nine Tails can now become part of the match itself, players can control it through Sharingan: Control, and the Ninja Academy adds another Naruto-themed location.

There are also new rewards and Hinata’s arrival.

The event is available until October 15, so players have several weeks to complete the available activities and collect rewards.
